STEP 1
To donate via IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD), you must be age 70.5 or over. You can transfer up to $100,000 annually to a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization (other than a DAF). For a married couple, if both spouses are age 70.5 or over and both have IRAs, each spouse can exclude up to $100,000 for a total of up to $200,000 per year.

STEP 2
Contact your IRA custodian to inform your intention and the donation amount. Make the distribution directly to Notley Impact (EIN: 85-3304316), a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Please note: A key rule about QCDs is that the distributions must be made directly from the IRA to the tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, not to you. This means that the check or wire transfer must be made out to Notley Impact If it is made out to you, it is counted as a taxable distribution.
Contributions to Notley Impact’s Freedom2Vote program are tax-deductible (EIN 85-3304316).
Thank you for your donation!
